My chronological reading-through-the-bible plan has me studying the gospels right now. I have been doing this Bible Study (affiliate link*) through the book of James. And, by "a" bible study, I mean an awesome, eye-opening, life-changing, faith-altering bible study. I always thought James seemed similar to Proverbs - a bunch of random topics squeezed together. But I'm learning that is so not true. Have you ever done a read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year plan? I'm reading through it now, and I'm reading through some of the Prophet books... Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, etc... Sometimes it's hard to know what to make of them. How do I interpret this? Is it even applicable to me?
